Mr. K Ram Gupta brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the mining sector, with a distinguished career spanning decades. A Commerce graduate, Gupta commenced his professional journey with the Saurastra group of companies, where he honed his skills from the ground up. Serving as the General Manager, he spearheaded the Procurement and Sales of iron ore and related products across multiple regions, including Hoset-Bellary, Ahmedabad, Odisha, and Kolkata.

Gupta’s leadership has been instrumental in the successful execution of 43 export shipments of iron ore to China, showcasing his proficiency in international trade and logistics. His extensive exposure to ores like bauxite and manganese further underscores his versatility in the mining domain. Armed with in-depth knowledge of iron ore grades, sizes, ROMs, and crushing units, Gupta is well-equipped to oversee the overall operations of the Iron ore crushing unit at our Rourkela Plant. His strategic insights and hands-on experience make him an invaluable asset to our team, driving excellence and innovation in our mining endeavors.
